Dapidodigma hymen, the western virgin, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae, first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1775. It is found across a broad swath of West Africa, including Senegal, the Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, and western Cameroon, where its habitat consists of forest and scrubland.
