Actias selene, known as the Indian moon moth or Indian luna moth, is a species of saturniid moth found across Asia. It was first described by the entomologist Jacob Hubner in 1807. The species is popular among amateur entomologists and is often reared from eggs or cocoons available from commercial sources; adults fly mainly at night.
