Araucaria muelleri is a medium sized conifer in the family Araucariaceae, reaching 10 to 25 meters, distinguished from other New Caledonian araucarias by its notably larger leaves. It is found only in a handful of sites in the far south of Grande Terre, New Caledonia's main island. The species is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, threatened mainly by forest fires and nickel mining, though some populations lie within national park boundaries.
