Betta edithae is a species of gourami endemic to Indonesia, where it occurs in Kalimantan, Sumatra, and the Riau Archipelago. It grows to a length of about 8.2 centimeters and is found in the aquarium trade. Its species name honours the German aquarist Edith Korthaus, who co-discovered it with her husband Walter Foersch; Walter is in turn honoured in the name of another species the couple discovered, Betta foerschi.
