Glow Moss, also called ribbed bog-moss or bog groove-moss, is a moss species with a nearly cosmopolitan distribution across North America, Hispaniola, Venezuela, Eurasia and New Zealand. In North America it ranges across the southern Arctic, subboreal and boreal regions from Alaska and British Columbia to Greenland and Quebec, with scattered populations reaching south into states such as Washington, Wyoming, Georgia and Virginia.
