Nepenthes pervillei is the only pitcher plant native to the Seychelles, where it is endemic to the islands of Mahe and Silhouette. It grows in rocky terrain near granitic mountain summits, sending its roots deep into rock fissures, and occurs at altitudes between about 350 and 750 meters above sea level. Like every member of its genus, the species is dioecious, meaning individual plants are either male or female.
