Overleaf pellia, also called common pellia, Pellia epiphylla, is a liverwort of the family Pelliaceae with an irregularly branched, ribbon-like thallus that can grow over a centimeter wide and several centimeters long, green and sometimes tinged red or purple, with only a faint midrib. It is common on the banks of rivers, streams and ditches and in wet woodland, marshes and damp rock faces on neutral to acidic ground across North America, Europe, North Africa and parts of Asia.
