Saxegothaea, most often called by its genus name or as Prince Albert's yew, is a genus of conifer containing a single species, Saxegothaea conspicua, in the podocarp family. It is a medium sized tree native to southern Chile and Argentina, growing between roughly thirty five and forty six degrees south latitude, at higher elevations in the north of its range and down to sea level in the south.
