Sea trout is the common name usually applied to anadromous, sea-run forms of brown trout, often referred to by the scientific name Salmo trutta morpha trutta. Depending on the region it is also known as bull trout, sewin in Wales, peel or peal, mort, finnock in Scotland, white trout in Ireland, or salmon trout as a culinary term.
