Silky wall feather-moss, Homalothecium sericeum, is a species of moss in the family Brachytheciaceae, commonly found growing on stone walls, tree bark and rock outcrops across Europe and other temperate regions. Its glossy, golden-green fronds lie in flattened, silky-looking mats, a sheen that gives the species both its common and scientific names, sericeum meaning silky.
