Titan Beetle, scientifically Titanus giganteus, is a Neotropical species of longhorn beetle and the sole species in its genus, one of the largest known beetles and insects at over 170 millimeters in length. Adult titan beetles live only a few weeks and protect themselves from predators with sharp spines and powerful jaws.
