The taxonomic families of the fungus kingdom. No family-rank taxon in this atlas's current catalog has been identified as fungal, so this subcategory is empty for now, ready for the fungal families the atlas will place here as its fungal taxonomy deepens. A future member belongs here when its own sourced description identifies it as a fungal family under the standard mycological classification (Index Fungorum and the Catalogue of Life), such as the gilled-mushroom family Agaricaceae or the morel family Morchellaceae, neither of which is yet minted in this atlas.
