Anthicidae is a family of beetles in the order Coleoptera, commonly called ant-like flower beetles or ant-like beetles for their resemblance to ants. The family comprises more than 3,500 described species across roughly 100 genera, found worldwide, with a fossil record extending back to the Early Cretaceous.
