Bostrichidae is a family of beetles in the order Coleoptera with more than 700 described species, commonly known as auger beetles, false powderpost beetles or horned powderpost beetles. The family is divided into seven subfamilies and has a fossil record extending back to the Cenomanian stage of the Cretaceous period.
