Cyclaxyridae, the sooty mould beetles, is a family in the superfamily Cucujoidea with one living genus, Cyclaxyra, containing two species endemic to New Zealand, plus three further extinct genera known from fossils in Myanmar and Europe. The living species are mycophagous, feeding on fungal spores, conidia, and hyphae associated with sooty mould, and the family known range runs from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous to the present.
