Hobartiidae is a family of fungus eating beetles in the superfamily Cucujoidea, established by Sen Gupta and Crowson in 1966, containing two genera, Hobartius and Hydnobioides, and six described species. Five of the six species live in Australia, while one Hobartius species occurs in Chile and Argentina, and members feed on basidiomycete fruiting bodies inside decaying logs of Araucaria, Nothofagus, and Eucalyptus trees.
