Leiosauridae is a family of iguanian lizards endemic to Central and South America, comprising six genera, Anisolepis, Diplolaemus, Enyalius, Leiosaurus, Pristidactylus and Urostrophus, and 34 species, known by common names including tree lizards, Patagonian lizards, fathead anoles, smooth iguanas, big-headed iguanas and steppe iguanas depending on genus.
