Protocucujidae is a family of beetles in the superfamily Cucujoidea, named by Crowson in 1954, containing a single known genus, Ericmodes, originally described as Protocucujus, found in southern South America and eastern Australia. Its biology is poorly understood, though adults and larvae have been found on vegetation, and adults have also been collected in leaf litter and in flight.
