Ripiphoridae, formerly spelled Rhipiphoridae, is a cosmopolitan family of beetles in the order Coleoptera comprising about 450 described species commonly called wedge-shaped beetles. They are notable as hypermetamorphic parasitoids, a trait they share with the blister beetle family Meloidae, with most species parasitizing bees or wasps, though some instead attack cockroaches or other beetles. Many Ripiphoridae have shortened elytra and distinctive fan-shaped or comb-like antennae.
