Xenotyphlopidae is a family of blind snakes, also called Malagasy blind snakes, endemic to Madagascar. Established in 2010 by Vidal, Vences, Branch and Hedges, the family contains a single genus, Xenotyphlops, described by Wallach and Ineich in 1996, with two recognized species, Xenotyphlops grandidieri and Xenotyphlops mocquardi.
