Brassicales, also called Cruciales, is an order of flowering plants in the malvid group of eudicots under the APG IV system, comprising 18 families. Well-known members include cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, kale, mustard, turnip, bok choy, rapeseed, radish, horseradish, caper, papaya and nasturtium, and a common trait across much of the order is the production of mustard-oil isothiocyanate compounds.
