Crossosomatales is an order of flowering plants first recognized as such by the APG II system, placed within the rosid eudicots and, under the APG III system of 2009, positioned within the malvid clade. Members share distinctive floral features, including solitary flowers whose calyx, corolla, and stamens fuse at the base into a tube-shaped floral cup, along with characteristic pollen structure, gynoecium position, stigma papillae, and seeds with a smooth, woody coating.
