Escalloniales

Escalloniales is a small order of flowering plants within the eudicots, comprising a handful of families including Escalloniaceae, native mainly to temperate and subtropical regions of the Southern Hemisphere, particularly South America. Species in the order include shrubs and small trees cultivated ornamentally for their flowers and foliage, such as members of the genus Escallonia.
