Metteniusales is an order of flowering plants containing a single family, Metteniusaceae, a group of trees, shrubs, and lianas found mainly in the tropics. The family comprises roughly 10 genera and about 50 species; its modern circumscription draws together genera formerly scattered within the polyphyletic family Icacinaceae, after earlier classifications had limited it to the single genus Metteniusa.
