Opiliones is the order of harvestmen, arachnids also known as harvesters or daddy long-legs, distinguished from spiders by a fused, undivided body and a single pair of eyes. More than 6,650 species have been named, though the true total may exceed 10,000. The order is split into five suborders: Cyphophthalmi, Eupnoi, Dyspnoi, Laniatores, and the more recently named Tetrophthalmi.
