Picramniales is an order of flowering plants containing a single family, Picramniaceae, a small, mainly neotropical group of four genera: Aenigmanu, Alvaradoa, Nothotalisia, and Picramnia. The family sits within the malvid clade of the rosids and was formerly placed within Simaroubaceae or confused with species of Sapindaceae before molecular studies recognized it as a distinct lineage concentrated in Central and South America.
