Entoprocta, also called Kamptozoa, is a phylum of small, mostly stalked filter feeding animals found attached to hard surfaces or other organisms in marine and some freshwater habitats. A ring of ciliated tentacles surrounds both the mouth and the anus, a layout that distinguishes entoprocts from the outwardly similar bryozoans, whose anus lies outside the tentacle ring.
