Bird Orders

Ciconiiformes is a bird order of large, long-legged, long-necked wading birds with long stout bills, today restricted to the single family Ciconiidae, the storks. The order once included herons, ibises and other wading families, which have since been reclassified into the order Pelecaniformes.
