Tecoma stans is a flowering perennial shrub in the trumpet vine family, Bignoniaceae, native to the Americas. It is known by common names including yellow trumpetbush, yellow bells, yellow elder, and ginger Thomas. The plant is the official flower of the United States Virgin Islands and the floral emblem of the Bahamas.
