Agathis flavescens is a conifer in the family Araucariaceae found only in a few remote, isolated populations in Peninsular Malaysia, and is sometimes treated as a variety of the closely related Agathis dammara. It was formally described by Henry Nicholas Ridley in 1914, and specimens growing in nutrient poor soils often show yellowing leaves. The IUCN Red List classifies it as Vulnerable, with fewer than 1,000 mature individuals estimated to survive in the wild.
