The Argentine horned frog is a heavy bodied South American grassland frog, family Ceratophryidae, with an enormous mouth relative to its size, earning it the nickname Pacman frog. It buries itself in soil or leaf litter with only its eyes exposed and ambushes passing prey, including animals nearly as large as itself.
