The blue poison dart frog, or blue poison arrow frog, is a poison dart frog found in forest islands surrounded by the Sipaliwini Savanna in southern Suriname, known to the indigenous Tiriyo people as okopipi. Its name azureus refers to its azure blue color. Once described as its own species, recent authorities generally treat it as a color morph or subspecies of Dendrobates tinctorius.
