The candango mouse, or candango akodont, Juscelinomys candango, is a rodent in the family Cricetidae that was found only around the area of Brasilia in South America. It had dark fur with gray hairs tipped in orange or black, producing reddish streaks, small ears haired on both sides, and a short, hair covered tail that widened toward its base. Its habitat was overtaken by urban sprawl as Brasilia expanded, and the species has not been recorded since the 1960s; the IUCN lists it as Extinct.
