Chlamydosaurus Kingii

The frilled lizard, Chlamydosaurus kingii, also known as the frilled agama, frillneck lizard or frilled dragon, is a species of lizard in the family Agamidae and the only member of its genus, native to northern Australia and southern New Guinea. Its common names refer to the large frill around its neck, which normally stays folded against its body. The lizard grows to about 90 centimetres from head to tail tip and can weigh up to 600 grams, with males larger and more robust than females; its body is generally grey, brown, orangish-brown or black, and its frill can show red, orange, yellow or white.
