Cyclamen purpurascens, the purple cyclamen, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Cyclamen of the family Primulaceae, native to central Europe, northern Italy, and the former Yugoslavia. It is an evergreen tuberous perennial with usually variegated leaves and deep pink flowers that bloom in summer.
