Dianthus gratianopolitanus, commonly known as the Cheddar pink or clove pink, is a species of plant in the family Caryophyllaceae. It is a herbaceous perennial hardy to zones 4 through 8, growing to a height of about half a foot to a foot and blooming from May to June with fragrant, rose-pink flowers. It grows best in full sun with medium water, since overwatering or poor drainage leads to crown rot and the plant does not tolerate wet winter soil.
