Flamingo tongue snail, Cyphoma gibbosum, is a small but brightly colored sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk of the family Ovulidae, the ovulids or false cowries, found on coral reefs of the Caribbean Sea and western Atlantic. Its plain orange-tan shell is normally hidden beneath a vividly patterned mantle of leopard-like spots that the living animal can withdraw at will, and it feeds on the soft tissue of sea fans and other soft corals.
