Gunther's leaf-tailed gecko, also called Gunther's flat-tail gecko, is a nocturnal lizard endemic to Madagascar, found in the northwest around Ankarafantsika and near Morondava in the west. It reaches a total length of about 150 millimeters and is difficult to find by day, camouflaged to resemble dead branches and bits of bark. It forages and roosts on small trees and bushes in forest at altitudes of 30 to 120 meters, generally within 6 meters of the ground, and is classified as Endangered.
