Pterinochilus murinus, commonly called the orange baboon tarantula, is a nocturnal spider in the family Theraphosidae, first described in 1897 by Reginald Innes Pocock. It is found in Angola and other parts of central and southern Africa and belongs to the subfamily Harpactirinae, the baboon spiders.
