Raphanus raphanistrum

Raphanus raphanistrum, commonly called wild radish, white charlock, or jointed charlock, is a flowering plant in the mustard family Brassicaceae. It is native to western Asia, Europe, and parts of northern Africa, but has been introduced to most parts of the world, where in many places, including Australia, it is regarded as a habitat-threatening invasive species. It spreads rapidly and is often found growing on roadsides and other disturbed ground. The cultivated radish grown as a root vegetable is sometimes classified as one of its subspecies, Raphanus raphanistrum subsp. sativus.
