Reticulated Glass Frog

The reticulated glass frog is a small Central and South American rainforest frog, family Centrolenidae, whose translucent belly skin makes its heart, liver, and digestive tract visible from below. Females lay egg clutches on the underside of leaves overhanging streams, and in many populations the male remains with the eggs, guarding them until the hatched tadpoles drop into the water.
