Slender Riccia, also called floating crystalwort, is an aquatic liverwort in the genus Riccia that grows as a free-floating plant on the surface of still freshwater, or fully submerged just beneath it, forming thick mats either way. It is popular among aquarium keepers, who value it for providing shelter to juvenile fish in breeding setups.
