Marchantiopsida is a class of liverworts within the phylum Marchantiophyta, whose members are known as complex thalloid liverworts. Species in the class are found worldwide, and their gametophyte generation is distinguished by complex internal oil bodies not found in simpler thalloid liverworts elsewhere in the phylum.
