Sundial snail, Architectonica perspectiva, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk of the family Architectonicidae, known as the staircase shells or sundials, found in the Indo-Pacific. Its shell is low and broadly conical with a wide, deep umbilicus at its base whose spiraling internal whorls resemble a staircase, the feature that gives the family its common names, and like related sundial snails it preys on other invertebrates such as sea anemones and corals.
