Mammalia

Class

Warm-blooded vertebrates defined by mammary glands that produce milk to feed their young, hair or fur, and (in nearly every living species) giving birth to live young rather than laying eggs. Mammalia ranges in size from bumblebee-sized bats to the blue whale, the largest animal ever known to have lived.
