Teucrium fruticans, known as tree germander or shrubby germander, is a species of flowering plant in the mint family Lamiaceae, native to the western and central Mediterranean. It is a spreading evergreen shrub growing to about 1 metre tall and 4 metres wide, with arching velvety white shoots, glossy aromatic leaves, and pale blue flowers in summer. Its Latin specific epithet, fruticans, means shrubby or bushy. The cultivar Azureum, noted for its darker flowers, has received horticultural recognition, and the species is cold hardy within appropriate conditions.
