Vitis mustangensis

Vitis mustangensis, commonly known as the mustang grape, is a species of grape in the family Vitaceae native to the southern United States. Its range covers parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma. It is a woody vine that produces small clusters of fruit, ripening into dark purple berries about three quarters of an inch across during summer and early fall.
