Wallace's Flying Frog

Wallace's flying frog is a tree frog of Southeast Asian rainforests, family Rhacophoridae, named for the naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, who described its ability to glide between trees. Extensive webbing between its long fingers and toes spreads into a parachute like surface when the frog leaps, and flaps of skin along its limbs add further lift, letting it cover several meters through the air on a single glide.
