Ailuridae is a family in the mammal order Carnivora consisting of the red panda and its extinct relatives. The red panda, Ailurus fulgens, is the sole living representative of the family, which also includes seven extinct genera spread across three subfamilies. The red panda itself is found in parts of Asia.
