Craseonycteridae is a family of bats containing a single living species, Kitti's hog-nosed bat, also called the bumblebee bat, found only in limited areas of western Thailand and adjacent Myanmar. It is among the smallest bats and by some measures the smallest living mammal, weighing only a few grams. The species roosts in limestone caves in small colonies and forages for small insects over nearby forest and bamboo groves.
